We have been to Branson 6 or 7 times and had NEVER heard of the College of the Ozarks Museum until this trip. High school aged and younger are free. Adults were less than $5.00 each for the museum.
Buddy Epson/Jed Clampett died this past week and the DH and DSs wanted to see the original old Clampett truck there. Not only did the boys get to see it, they were able to have their pictures taken right in the front seat of the truck!!! My kids have always enjoyed the Beverly Hill Billies on Nick at Night.
Colleged students have jobs at the college and run the museum. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. The museum offers 3 floors of very interesting items. It was much more than I ever expected.
Just found out that I could have checked my email for free there too.
Why isn't this museum publisized more?
