Friday afternoon, my Husband and I hopped aboard Jim Stafford's Jolley Trolley...after paying $33 for our rides, of course.

First, let me say that the traffic was very heavy, Friday, June 20. The normally one and 1/2 hour ride took much longer because of the traffic. And these guys are professional drivers. But my husband enjoyed being a passinger, looking out the window and not worrying about driving.

Our Guide was James Garrett, a personable young man who sings with The Kendles. He and Mary Lou Turner have the 2:00pm Sunday free Rockin' Revival at the Jim Stafford Show.

Instead of the stop to get ice cream, you stop at Mountain Man Fruit and Nut. I always wanted to be part of a Bus Tour, so I kinda was here. Someone comes on the Trolley and welcomes you, then you depart and enter thru the Bus Tour entrance, and there you are offered lots of samples of food, chocolates and coffees.

On the Bus we won bags of Mountain Man goodies. There is a coupon at Mountain Man for $3.00 a ticket on the Jolly Trolley, so you might want to go there first!

Did you go by Jim's home?

Do you mean $33.00 per ticket? Or for both of you?
Was it worth it?

And, I'm curious, like Grands, to know where else you went! :D

Yes, Jim's home is in Sunset Cove (I think that's right)...Huge place! and there was Anne Stafford and Son playing tennis in real life as we drove by. They smiled and waved. The video inside the trolley shows you the inside of the hotel, oops home.
The trolley goes by twice...one side and then back and other side.

The Guide, Jim Garrett, has lived in Branson for many years and know alot of the History. Jokes, Quizes, Fun.

Have you ever rode this at Christmastime? We've thought about it but didn't know anything about it. How much is it that time of year?

Suselit,

do you remember ticket prices for adults and kids. Was there very many people on your trip. When we where there it did not look like anyone was riding them?

Rode it last Christmastime when my family was down. It was a beautiful drive -- only took us out to Kimberling City though, so I didn't think it was worth the $$ my dad spent for it. And that night it was very cold, and the heater wasn't working well, so I was absolutely FROZEN by the time we got done!!!

The price was $16.50 per adult...only one older child on board...the trolley was filled. I don't know kid's prices, but I feel sure that if you call Jim Stafford's Theatre, they will tell you.

Is this still in operation? Didn't see it around when we were there the first week of August.

What else do you see while on the tour? It might be something that we might do in October.
