Took the Pirate Cruise this weekend and really enjoyed it. The children were really wide eyed. The hillbilly at the Gold Mine wanted to use my grandson for fish bait, then the pirate wanted to take him! All 3 children as well as the others on the cruise really jumped up when the boat sprang a leak. I thought the cruise down Taeycomo was really great. Never been on Taneycomo before so I saw things I never saw before. Thanks for recommending it
Where do you catch the cruise ship at? The location? And how much did it cost for each person?

The boat is docked right on Taneycomo in downtown Branson. After you cross the RR tracks there is a street that runs right alongside the lake. Turn left and the Sammy Lane Boat Dock is a very short distance on your right. My husand got the tickets so I am not exactly sure of the price. I think it was 15.00 for adults and childrn were about 8.00. There is a coupon in the VIP Book that can be used for 2.00 off each adult ticket up to 6 or purchase 2 adult tckets and the child's is free. There is no charge for children under 3.

It was a wonderful cruise many years ago when I used to take it every summer. I can imagine why people like to keep taking it even now! It is a wonderful tour of the lake. The history you get about the lake and the fun of the kids (of all ages) driving the boat, etc., and being included in all the activities makes it a great "Family Value" thing to do.

Sammy Lane Pirate Cruise was one of my fondest memories of my childhood. I couldn't remember a whole lot about Branson, but NEVER forgot about it! Now we have taken our two children on it, when they were younger, and now a little older as well, and we ALL still enjoy it! It is amazing the history you learn about the lake and area as well!

The ride on Taneycomo was so peaceful it almost put me to sleep.
Apparently it must put lots of people to sleep because the Captain warns you about yawning. I could not believe how the temp drops on Taneycomo. Our ride was air conditioned by nature.

I just found my receipt from the Pirate Cruise. The prices on the website are incorrect. They raised the adult admission from 9.95 to 12.95. Don't know about children, we had a coupon for a free child.
